Sidebar tour — minimal experience
You're looking at the real app shell. At S1 the sidebar shows primary navigation only — no workspace switcher, no team affordances, no active-members indicator. That's the right trade for a freelancer or indie founder with one space.
What's in the sidebar
- Workspace navigationPresent
Home, Chat, Dashboards, Notebooks, Catalog, Models — six rows. Active route turns soft-primary.
- Intelligence shortcutsPresent
Insights, Alerts, Agents — each carries a badge for unread items.
- Data shortcutsPresent
Sources, Pipelines, Query history, Documents — collapse to icons when narrow.
- Pinned dashboards & notebooksPresent
Up to ten of each, surfaced under the primary nav. Drag to reorder.
- Settings (footer)Present
Single row at the bottom. Profile lives in the top bar avatar.
- Workspace switcherHidden at S1
Hidden at S1 — you have one workspace. The TopBar still names it; there's no dropdown.
- Active members indicatorHidden at S1
Hidden at S1 — there's no team to show on this page.

Icon-only. Tooltips on hover replace the labels. Same primary nav, same affordances — just narrower.
The real Sidebar on the left supports collapse natively — click the chevron at its top-right (when expanded) or the panel icon (when collapsed). Try it now to see the persistent shell respond.
Tier progression — what changes as you grow
- S1 (you are here): primary nav only. No switcher, no team strip, no active-members indicator.
- S2 / S3: TopBar workspace switcher activates (multiple workspaces with roles). Active-members indicator appears on shared pages — Google Sheets style avatar stack.
- S4: switcher dropdown becomes a tree (BU / department hierarchy). Active-members shows roles + a live indicator. Audit retention surfaces in the footer.
